Everything you need to know about using this site and booking with us, in one place.
By using this website, you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
All text, photography, and design on this site belong to Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Hamamı unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced without permission. Historical content is presented for general interest and, where noted, drawn from published sources — it is not a substitute for academic research.
Treatment prices, durations, and packages shown on this site are current at time of publishing but may change without notice. The price and details confirmed at the time of your booking confirmation are the ones that apply.
Hamam treatments involve heat, steam, and physical touch. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high blood pressure, skin conditions, or any other health concern, please tell us before your visit so we can advise on suitability. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
This section explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it, in line with Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).
When you submit the Reserve, Contact, or Gift Card forms, we collect only what you enter — typically your name, email, phone number, and message or booking details. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts. The only thing stored in your browser is your language preference (English/Turkish), saved locally on your device and never sent to us.
We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry, confirm your reservation, or process your gift card request. We do not sell or rent your information, and we only share it with the minimum necessary service providers (for example, our email delivery service) required to operate this site.
Under KVKK Article 11, you have the right to learn whether we process your data, request correction or deletion of it, and object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at iletisim@sokullumehmetpasahamami.com.
Submitting the Reserve form sends us a request — it is not an instant confirmed booking. We'll confirm your appointment by phone or email, usually the same day.
Please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule, by phone, email, or Instagram DM. For private sessions for two or full-day packages, we ask for 48 hours' notice, since these are staffed specifically for your visit.
We understand plans change. That said, repeated no-shows without any notice may mean we're unable to hold future reservation requests for you.
Gift cards are valid for three months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to someone else's name if the person you gifted it to is unable to use it.

Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Hamamı is open every day. The men's section operates 08:00–23:00, and the women's section 09:00–21:00. The recommended last reservation time is 21:30 for men and 19:30 for women, to allow time for the full ritual.
Outside food and drink are not permitted in the hamam. In line with hygiene rules, no food or drink is served in the warm or hot rooms — guests may order from our menu in the resting area (soğukluk). Photos and videos may only be taken in the resting area, without disturbing other guests or including them in the shot, and in keeping with the general rules of a public establishment.
At Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Hamamı, men and women are served in separate sections — though we'd like to remind you that bathing in a hamam is, at heart, a shared experience, carried on the same way for centuries.
Hamam treatments are not recommended for guests with heart or vascular conditions, high or low blood pressure, respiratory conditions (asthma, bronchitis, COPD), diabetes, or a urinary tract infection, or for guests who have recently had surgery or are undergoing cancer treatment. Guests with severe skin conditions such as burns or allergies, open wounds, or epilepsy are unable to make use of our services. Pregnant guests are advised not to enter the hamam. Drinking alcohol, or arriving very hungry or very full, before your visit are also worth keeping in mind for your health.
You can safely store your personal belongings throughout your hamam experience in the lockable cabinet assigned to you.
For your comfort, everything you might need — peştamal, slippers, towels, shampoo, and other personal care items — is provided at the hamam. If you prefer, you're welcome to bathe in your own swimsuit or bikini. You're also welcome to bring your own personal care products and use your own shampoo and soap in the washing area.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your reservation time, so you can settle in comfortably before your ritual begins. From the moment you enter, our staff will guide you throughout. A full hamam experience — including washing and resting time — takes approximately 90 minutes; we kindly ask that you book your reservation with this duration in mind.
